How to register multiple contacts to an event.

Why register one when you can register many? Event Hapily’s multi-registration feature allows you to register multiple people for your in-person or virtual event, all in one go. Whether you need to collect different details from additional attendees or want to keep it simple, our app has you covered.

 

Step 1: Choose Your Session

In the module, you can pick the Session you are signing folks up for under "hapily session". Leave this blank if you are using a dynamic landing page as we'll already know which session to use. 

Step 2: Picking a HubSpot Form

Choose your main HubSpot form for the initial registrant (that’s the first person signing up). You can customize the fields to ask for all the important stuff like name, email, and t-shirt size.

Step 3: Adding Additional Registrants

Once your primary registrant is in, click the “Add Additional Registrant” button (as seen in the screenshot above). You can customize this text to whatever you want. Have fun with it! The default is “Add Additional Registrant,” but maybe you want to go with something like “Bring a Friend” or “Party of Two?” – it’s up to you!

You can also set the max number of additional registrants. Feel like three’s a crowd? Set it to two. Want to invite a whole squad? Adjust as needed!

Step 4: Customizing Additional Registrant Forms

Want more or less information from additional registrants? No problem. You can choose a different form for additional registrants if you need extra or fewer details. For example, the main registrant might need to select a t-shirt size, but additional registrants can skip the merch and head straight to the RSVP.

Step 5: Finalizing Registration

Once all registrants are added and happy with their details, hit “Register for Event” (or whatever you’ve customized this button to say). Voilà! Everyone is registered in a single swoop, creating Contacts for each person if they don't already exist in HubSpot.

Configuration via the CMS Editor

Check out the CMS Module editor where you can:

  • Edit button text: Customize the words between each registrant (e.g., “+ Add Another Hero”).
  • Set a limit: Control how many additional registrants can be added (two, five, or fifty – your call!).
  • Modify display text: Tweak the header text for additional registrants if needed.
